got a new project. 1992 u42t. May need some engine work but just picked it up today. I’ve rebuilt a 3g81. Wish me luck

Got it running today. I carb swapped it to a grizzly 660 carb. Just a few tweaks to the carb to get it running perfect. Also, there’s a blockage in the pipe attached to the fuel tank. Wasn’t letting fuel to flow. Bedliner, bed rack, a few lights, and tires and it will be quite the machine

That blockage would’ve killed your fuel flow, so glad you spotted it. With the 660 carb, make sure you don’t lean it out too much, grizzlies run hotter than people realize, especially if you’re adding a bedliner that traps heat.

Engine is running nice with the carb conversion. Offroad tires are on the way. Did some bedliner for the bed and below the body line on the cab. Needs valve adjusted and an oil pressure issue. Not sure if it’s a bad oil pressure sensor or actual oil pressure issue. Building a bed rack soon.
