Hoping I can get some help with removing the rear axle from my sambar, had some issues with a slight bend in it, causing my CV boots to constantly come undone. I have been trying to get this out for a few hours, but am coming up blank. In all my books and the forums online it says that it should have a pin to take out in the inside of the shaft next to the transmission.

Do I have to take the boot inside boot off? - Should I just remove the control arm and start smashing on this to get it out? I dont want to break any of the pins, but am getting frustrated.

If there's no visiblr pin, it's held on with a circlip. Just knock it off the transmission with a hammer and long punch.
