timing marks on crank

    can anyone tell me where the timing marks are on the crank on a honda? I know where the ones are on the cam but not on the crank. please help I need to get this thing going very soon. :pop:

    There should be a top dead center mark on the crankshaft pulley. It's just a notch cut in it and it needs to be lined up with the triangle mark cast into the engine block.

    OK so I found what i was looking for. you have to pull off the outside part on the gear that holds the belt from slipping off there is an arrow after you clean off the crap. then in about the 9 o clock position there is an arrow on the block. but I wasn't lucky and it bent some valves on the #2 cyl. so anybody thinking they might should put a belt on. go ahead and do it b4 it is to late. I have been thinking about it for a couple of weeks and it is going to cost me now cause i waited.
