Suzuki Every stock wheel size/offsets?

Discussion in 'Suzuki Carry' started by Chewy123@shaw.ca, Jun 9, 2010.

  1. Hey guys, proud owner of an every van kombi conversion, buuuut it looks kinda shabby at the moment, so I'm looking for new wheels. Wondering if anybody knows the stock rim size (width and diameter) and the stock offset.

Thanks for any help, here's a pic of my plight, needs to be lowered too (as well as door jambs painted)

Whoa, pimpin', I like that! I used 13x5.5" 4 bolt 4x114.3mm corvair steel rims with beauty rims and baby moons for the centre. Any of the RWD Datsun/Nissan/Toyota stuff should fit also ...

  3. Thanks! 4x114 seems to be the thing eh? I wanna find some old 280z rims and refinish em if 114 is the case. What was the stock offset on the rim? worried about backspacing on too wide of a rim.

Just to be clear its not 114, its 114.3mm as mentioned above (you my have better luck seraching for wheels advertised ast 4.5 inch rather than 114.3 or 114). 4.5" will fit 115mm bolt pattern. I have goofed with a couple of differnt tire/wheel options now for my Carry (4x115mm). I will share... I have put 12x7 5/2 offest ITP (ATV wheels) on with no issue. I now have a set of 14x5.5 rims on there (not sure back spaceing) and run 195/70R14 Fits Classic tires on there (needed a 1/4" wheel spacer in the front to get the tires off of the springs in heavy compression). I have a 2.5" suspension lift up front and needed to trim the front fenders a bit to get it all to play nice. However, i suspect that if i would have adjusted the radius rods properly during the lift, i may not have had to trim fender (just a theory).

Here is what my truck looks like.

Chewie, the 280Z rim should fit I think, it's a 14x4.5", but, I don't know the offset. Easy way, jack up the van, bolt it up and see, that's how I fitted the 8 different mags and tire I have here in 114.3!

  8. Little Foot, thanks for the pics!!!

and ODF, I totally get where you're coming from, seems I may have to take that approach. If they don't fit, I do have a fender roller :D

The fender will take up to 24" diameter without rubbing.

    O8k,

From your information (thanks by the way), I will need a 4x110 or a 4x115 lug pattern because I still haven't been able to nail down the make year. The seatbelts were made in 1995 and look orginal, but other numbers are either missing or painted over.

According to your info: if I have a 95, I'll need 4x115; but if it is a 96, I might need a 4x110. What is the difference between the two? Enough to prevent interchange?

    Thanks,
    Greg

tape measure or ruler and remove a wheel(front)
measured center to center of the studs..... the ones opposite from one an other not adjacent. then take a ruler or straight edge and place it on the face of the hub and measure the distance from the straight edge to the strut tower...that is your max back spacing

the fronts are the ones of most concern

if 4x110....start looking at early mazda RX-7 rims....13 inch
you might get away with ford escort 108's.....if for off road only and slower speeds if in a pinch.

    also i don't think suzuki went to a 110.... i think that might be a typo....probably should be 4x100
kind of an industry standard....almost everybody went to 4x100
