All the links in the thread are good, and will get you to the account, try the first page here for the link. I just have a problem with youtube. They keep trying to get me to mod the account to my realworld name and I have to refresh two or three times now to get anywhere; like they refuse to take NO for an answer because it differs from my google account, but is linked. Also, I had relatives passing links on Facebook and stuff. Like people can have a say, like my mom don't like me driving so fast etc.
Google/Youtube need a "FNCKOFF" button for their freaken manadory modification advisories.
Don't even get me started on the "monatization" BS.
I have seen a "new" Suzuki running around town here. Just once, and if I ever run into that guy and get him stopped, I'll let him take the Interceptor for a boot, just so everyone can have a first hand account. I have no idea what the driving difference really is.
It's been too long, and the increases have been small and one at a time. I KNOW the Interceptor is wicked, I just don't know how sh!tty the OEM is....:sly:

As low geared as these things are I have to use 4 low first gear to get up more hills than I like while my friends are doing 30 mph!!! Got good compression and everything runs right but im not going to run her in 2nd or 3rd and break her hahaha
Some of that has to do with the fact that mine rides like a brick and im used to being the guy with lots of hp. My 6500 pound mud truck is always waiting to go for a spin when I get back from a run in the mini-mog hahaha I miss the g's

Yea, I like the final Kazoo tone. It is a pretty unique note. Definitely will turn heads and it does pull G's. The problem with too much power in the bush, is too much torque. Turning the tires into 4-tillers don't really accomplish anything, but by coming off the throttle a little, I can reduce the torque for the specific surface. The biggest plus is the weight, for sure. I mean you can get around big @ss fords in a swamp, jacked up to the sky. They're still sunk to the axles, my slider rides right on top, and the two rears with the diff-lock on are like paddle wheels...
Depends on where you are, and what you're doing. It's zippy high torque through the gears, but not high speed. The top end is there, but it's already at 6thou. So, another gear would be premo, but if it was for the highway, it'd be a whole different setup. The power band is from 0 to 70kph, but he'll still do 140.
The Jamar gets me around corners at high speed too, so, I can dust anything on gravel; maybe not a zippy quad in a tight spot, maybe..
I just finished tearing into him to get the vac lines back on. Took about 4 hours of work. Complete center section has to be flipped up, and of course Jamar mounts have to come off to do that. I put a little blow-off connector on the lines in an easy spot, just incase it ever happens again.
The part I'm still fiddling with is the new SC clutch and pulley assembly. The magnetic coil is just barely strong enough to do what I need it to running at the higher PSI, but there is a lot more to it than that. I'm an expert on ac clutches now... Burned the first set of bearings.

Hahaha very nice. I totally agree with the tiller description. Im always trying to tell people that when in doubt throttle out isnt always the solution. I just need the extra ponys to pull the load. I have a 4 spd tranny but seem to get stuck in first gear cause im always loaded. Have 3 or 5 kids in the bed as well as 2 dogs and gear. Makes hill climbing a bit slow and interesting at times hahaha. So I built a trailer to pull behind us and cut an old boat in half and bolted that to the deck. Now we have less weight in the truck but are still pulling it. If I could figure out how to post pics successfully id have more to show.........ill keep lurking and drooling!!! Hahaha. I also like the kazoo sound hahaha

And just how did you do that as in what broke. I thought the speedo on ours are cable driven did you break the cable, at the speedo , or at the trans or axle which ever it gets its info from
I don't know? (It's cable, on the trans) I haven't torn into him yet. BUT, diff-lock auto-off system is also U/S...
I was on the highway before I noticed..
I'm thinking, the high rate of change, of the speedo system. (like bouncing indicator).

Never did that particular maneuver before. Just hold it to the floor in second, and control the forward speed with the Jamar. Stop and go. Maybe it had nothing to do with it...maybe...
If all else you could get a GPS speedo
You need the break controller I have on my buggy. Pull Th left handle and the left rear break engages. Pull the right........ You could set it up for front or rear!!! Hahaha most likely ur cable was already tired haha

Hey MM, I DO have that. The Jamar is on the front wheels, "push/pull"...
I wanted to point out what I have found out by messing around with him over the last couple years.
Forget the theory, just the results, for the F6a single cam, 10.5CR, carby, no computer (hard settings).
NGKs and the DCPR plug series.
Recommended book values.
NA: DCPR7E 0.8mm-0.9mm (30 to 32)
Boosted(low): BPR5E 0.7mm-0.8mm (28 to 30)
The factory recommends "hotter" and a "tighter" gap, for the boosted application.
I've messed with the original "7"s a set of "6"s and a set of "8"s. Although right now, I am boosting up to 14PSI, and running 91, with water meth, and a bunch of other stuff. These are the results that I have found to be true:
A TIGHTER GAP;
Can advance timing more (+3 to +5 additional), before ping appears,
Millage Rate goes down,
Better pickup, zippy,
Idle screw turned down, 100 to 200 RPM,
Engine runs hotter,
Engine "missing" during idle is reduced.
Opening the gap seems to have the opposite effect to all of the above.
So, say that you just wanted to run with more advance, then tightening the gap will allow you to do that.
I've run the 8 (cold) to the 6 (hot)
The effect is similar to GAP, in that the hotter the plug, the better the performance, and the poorer the economy.
The hotter the plug is, the cleaner the engine runs. (deposits, not emissions)
Right now, I'm running the 8s @ 32. Timing had to be reduced, and the idle turned up. The plugs dirty quickly, fuel economy went up, performance went down. Engine starting is poor (crank time...and "wet" chambers).
"Mashing" the pedal and the truck "falls flat on its' nose". (I've seen that quoted quite a bit)
Running the 6s @ 26 previously, the description IS the complete opposite of the above.
The plugs themselves are too hot for my current application above 10C ambient, AND probly not a good application for a NA truck running on the highway. Probly run into a overheating problem.
For someone running around town, or on the trails below 20C, I'd suggest trying the "DCPR6E" gaped to 28 with 12BTDC. Dial it down for ping above 20C.
For a long highway commute, the DCPR8E @ 32.
For boosting, above 10C, the DCPR8E @ 28, below 10C the DCPR6E @ 28.
Like a heart transplant. I never paid much attention to plugs and their "settings" before messing with this truck, but it really does make a huge difference in how the engine performs. Whether that performance is racing, fuel economy, or just an easy start in the morning.
Got an ECU? Then all bets are off...
Dang it spaner that means I got to get more plugs once I get my lazy rear I. Gear and finish mine huh. Oh well once work slows down a touch ill have more free time to play around and do that huge list of stuff to mazie

Fall is here, snowing today, we've had a week or so below 10C for the daytime high, so the 6s (plugs), went back in and the second stage water meth was unplugged. I was also able to dial up the timing a bit.
Runs perfect, no problems at all.
Haven't had any time at all to take him for an offroad run though. I did get to do some yard work one afternoon...

I've been learning and watching for years for a deal to come up used, somewhere in my area.
If you go full retail, bolt on, for the DD51t....between 5 to 7 thou, all said and done.
I won't do it.
With a little patients, a lot of knowledge, and a little luck,
I think I've scored a slightly used top-of-the-line set for a few thou.
TJD Xgen..full kit...
Dont know if you can use the atv kit or if you need to have the utv kits or not ... TJD ar suppose to be the ones that loose the less speed.
They are supposed to be the best, third-generation.
I read a lot about the subject. So I'd ask first, can you put a set of UTVs on an ATV?
What's the main difference?
For most types, it's just the longer rear track system. Just the rear, and we KNOW, that for the trucks, if anything, you want the better support in the front, for the weight...not the rear...
I never did like the idea of longer tracks in the rear. A good idea for a UTV but not for a mini truck.
As far as strength, you can see guys jumping 1200lb ATVs with the built in suspension on the Xgen...so?

Oh dont get me wrong i dont think that they wont be strong enough its more that you have less square inches for floatation. I guess it all depends if you are going to have cargo in the back or not I even see people putting the rear tracks up front the 116 inch ones.
Id add that the Tatou 4s is an excellent choice too, but TJD recognised the mini truck market and made a kit for it. Go for the deal you find and see if your local shops are reseller of TJD or Tatou if you need parts later on.
I for one wouldnt know what to choose between TJD an Tatou their is more info on Tatous then TJD but Tatou is more renowned because they make sled tracks. Id have to try both and compare.

Nice link BTW, I might try these guys for a few parts. I like their site pic for parts; with complete exhaust systems hanging off the side of the supply shelving. Although, if you needed one, you'd go 2" right? NOT the factory PWR restriction system; but there's the thing. Knowledge in the sales... I'll try them though.
I like them cu'z, by the pricing benchmark of their inventory, the Interceptor with 14PSI boost, and a brand new set of tracks, a set of 24" mudders, and a set of 20" factory aluminums...I gots to be up near 20 grand on the resale value... (AC & diff-loc, PWR windows, a front turning brake, a front slider...)
I never did make a complete list. I'd even throw in a paint job
Add a dump-kit, and it's 30 grand...
I'd have the 30 grand, but no toy; out of my dead hands, they'd have to pris the ownership.
Anyway, TRACK SYSTEMS;
The tatou utv 4s tracks are fine, GREAT in fact. We are splitting hairs, I agree. Really depends on the bucks that it is going to cost you; installed and all. Right down to the penny for the gas you burned to go get them.
What ever "them" is.
The Xgen internal suspension is a bonus, but I don't plan on doing any "jumps" off the end of beaver dams...so?
The real selling point for me came down to the fact that, everything is good, all considered, but the last, was the drive system. I prefer the center drive, with the holes in the center of the track. Just like a sled-system. The Tatou system drives via rubber gear cogs, integral to the molded track. I prefer the drive holes, reinforced with steel nib ribbing, and a protruding drive sprocket finger.
That's just me though.
To me, it makes the small difference to "pull the pin" and say "yea, these ones".
Then, I add on the considerations of an integral suspension, and OF COURSE, the tax-free price and discount, of a used unit.
There is a lot to consider here, in the purchase of a track-system. If I could go a step further, I would get 4-"fronts" from the TJD Xgen system. The 4 wheel locations would all be identical, and be of the "front" type.
This just makes sense to my "build-mind", and I would do it, if it were not for the cost difference. The cost out weights the application consideration here.
Also, don't marginalise the fact that the TJD Xgen system is mounted via a specific "hub adapter". This takes the place of both "bolt pattern" consideration, AND, "wheel spacer".
A two-in-one mounting consideration...where the Tatou drive gear is a "multi mount" for bolt pattern, and then you have to consider a wheel spacer, where and if needed. Custom, and after-market for any mini...$
Here I am ranting away, nothing is for sure until it's done. When it's done, and tested...:sly:

Thank you that is great information that I didnt know nor looked for, but you are right the hub adapter is WAY better then the other. Its probably why they lose less top speed then the other brands. Ill research the Xgen suspension system im curious on how it works and first thing that comes to my mind is that could be a breaking point in the system. Ill let you know what I find.
