Can anyone suggest a reason the drag link in my steering linkage would (pretty much overnight) start groaning and creaking when I'm turning the wheel? I pulled it (and thus isolated the noise, but I see no damage beyond wear and neither the link or brackets are bent. Greased the ends, put back in...still groaning and creaking. I guess I can live with it, but...weird. PS: One thought...standard bolts, and they were torqued pretty tight--should the link instead use nylocks and have a little play?
