Here's a quick video whipped up while I was replacing the outer front CV boot on my 1994 Subaru Sambar KS4. I couldn't find any information on how to do this before I started so hopefully, this helps some folks out.
Decent, I have to change one of my front outers. How long did you drive with it open? I ordered a boot but after driving with it open for 4 weeks dunno if I'm better off taking the whole cv axle from my parts truck
I'm not sure. I haven't owned the truck for very long and I didn't notice it when I bought it. So it could have been before I bought it or just after. You could get this rebuild kit if it actually fits your CV: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-or-Re...ash=item54267cb8b3:g:gtYAAOSwwbdWOgr~&vxp=mtr
I got the heavy duty boot kit, didn't know there was a full rebuild kit available. Subaru must have used thin material on the oem boots because my 91 had a torn rear boot at 80k km and now my 97 at only 45k for a front one
AllBallsRacing makes good parts, going to replace my torn boot with that 19-5006 boot and report back, $13 on amazon. Ordered a boot on ebay and it was way too big, seller advertised 90-98 ks4 outter. The ebay boot was extremely stiff as well.
