oh, really? you sure about that there, chief? it seems to me that these little trucks are not approved for "on road" use, yet some states are approving them in spite of their lack of compliance with FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS.

    i'm just sayin'

    had enough yet?:p

    To Colin

It Want Be So Amusing When The E.p.a. Squashes The Importation Of The Mini And The Only Legal Mini Allowed In Will Be The 25 Year Old Or Older Trk.

Oh, I find nothing amusing about our out-of-control federal government and its various omnipotent agencies. I'm talking about the exchange taking place in this thread. What an incredible amount of sand you must have in your cooter...

this is a direct quote from canadian1 to my personal email:

YES SIR CHIEF, I AM QUITE SURE. THE D.O.T. IS PUTTING THE STATES THAT THEY KNOW OF ON NOTICE. THEY ARE TELLING THESE STATES TO CEASE OR THEY WILL TAKE AWAY THEIR FEDERAL HWY. FUNDING. JUST ASK THE FOLKS IN S.D.

    HAD ENOUGH YET?

I'VE BEEN STUDING THIS NEARLY EVERY DAY FOR THE PAST 2 YRS.

LET'S SEE IF YOU PUT THIS ON YOUR FORUM

my main reason for posting this is to post his lack of english and spelling skills... there really should be a test before you are allowed to spout obscurities on the internet.

work on your grammar, diction and spelling first (hooked on phonics worked for me :D) and try not to "yell" words don't have to be in all caps unless it's really important got it there scooter?

He claims to sell approx 520 trucks a year to re-sellers / dealers.....right???.. How many dealers do we have on this site????.. how many mini truck owners do we have on this site??? Yet no one so far seems to know of this canadian1 or of any of his 520 trucks a year that he has sold. Seems to me that just maybe ONE of his buyers would have ended up on this site even if the other 519 didn't.

    Un-answered questions by Canadian1:

    1. Where is a web site or company name and or office location?

    2. Who are these people you have sold to?

    3. What is your pricing and or options, today since your prices change so much...

    4. Where are the pictures of the trucks you have sold? Surly you must have some pictures of the 500 plus trucks sold last year.

    5. When are you going to pay the man to be a proper business on this forum? (or are you just a scam?)

Canadian1, I hope you are what you say. I believe that your business would be useful to those that want a inexpensive mini truck. However if a person was to read this thread I do not believe that you would get business from them.
But back to your thread... tell us your business model on how YOU are registering these trucks in every state. Give us a list of 50 state clients that have done it. What are the pit falls, if any in your opinion. But be careful, you might find out that others have done their homework. Otherwise....stop while you are well.....stop

Looks like he's getting more FREE advertising than the advertising he'd get as a paying forum sponsor.

Yeah, but I can't really begrudge a guy for supplying contact information and pricing after another member requests it. :p

There's pictures of mini trucks on that website that are newer than 25 years ... in fact, in my brief moment of clicking, I did not see a single photo of one that was a body style that was being built 25 years ago.

Hugh... I noticed that also. He also has pictures of two automatics. The funny thing is in his "about us" section he says that all the trucks are manual. The site also does not mention anything about inventory, options or pricing. Very vague. But he did get us to look.....

    25 yrs??

Okay Canadian1, I'm trying to understand.

On your website in the 'About Us' section it describes your trucks as 1991-2005 and "All trucks have 4WD MT A/C". So do you have 25 year old trucks or not? How about an up to date inventory list?

I'm in Georgia and have a 1991 Suzi that I would love to register for the street but can't. I'd be interested in a trade for a 25 year old with A/C if it meant I could run it on the street. I asume from your previous post the value of your truck is $4,400?

Please reply via this thread as I'm sure there are others who would be interested.

    Thanks,
    Cliff

    25 Year Old Trks.

I Have 2 Trks. Left In Inventory That Are 25 Years Old. 25 Year Old Trks. Are 550cc. 3 Cyl. With 2 Stroke Oil Injected Engines. Ac Was Never A Option On These Trks. I Am Sorry But I Do Not Know How To Forward The Photos Onto This Site. If Someone Would Send Me Their E-mail Address I Would To More Than Happy To Forward The Photos To You And You Could Forward To This Site. My Web Site Does Not Show These Trks. Because I Have Just Started To Handle Them Recently. I Wanted To See How Much Responce I Had Before I Did So. I Hope This Answers Your Questions.

    P.s. To Last Thread

If You Guys Did Not Know This Already: Epa Sent E-mail To By Broker Approx. 2 Months Ago Which Stated That The A/t Truck Was Never Approved By Them For Importation. The A/t Can Not Be Restricted To 25mph. I Had 3 Trks. That Just Barely Made It Under The Wire. My Broker Has Informed Me That One Of Their Import Customers Had 3 Containers Of A/t Trucks Sized In Tocoma And They Went To The Shredder. That Is Why I Now Advertise M/t Only. Also; When Found; Some Of The Customs Agents Are Seizing The Vans. Vans Are Not Considered A Off-road Vehicle.

Just A Bit Of First Hand Info:

    Thanks

as in another earlier line......I too think Canadian1 is just a troll...until proven otherwise...intelegent conversation would go a lot farther than yelling opinions back and forth.....a little more politeness would be helpful too...care to step up canadian1?

I would like to see facts about these arguments rather than opinions eh?:sly:
