Lol, blaming unions for legislation banning mini trucks seems to be a stretch to me. It's cool that you are the type of officer who enforces the spirit as opposed to the letter of the law though. Good cops like you can be hard to find; especially in rural areas... at least in my experience.

 

I agree 100 percent. Small town cops are usually the very best or the very worst. If you get a agressive cop, an agressive prosecutor, a judge who got up on the wrong side of the bed and a poor defendant the wheels of justice will crush with impunity.
