starting problems

    1994 suzuki carry carb was rebuilt by g&r imports truck will not start with key cranking over it wants to but wont it will start of you pull it down the road and pop the clutch and as long as its warm you can shut it off and it will start back up but not when
    its cold any sugestions?

    Is the choke working properly?

    hooking up a vacuum line to it and retry starting cold.

    i put vac. to choke and the butter fly never opens even when its warm ,if youopen it up manualy the motor races pulled the vacum off the dist. and motor idles down but loads up and stalls if you try to drive it ,plug the vacum back on and the motor races cant seem to get it to idle down any tips?

    Sure...
    Tips are, start reading, then start adjusting. Probly the most complicated part of the truck. G&R just rebuilt it for you??? You can be sure that not a single adjustment screw is in the right place for your particular truck...not a chance.
    Carb, vac line controllers, and carb adjustments...depending on operating temps and pressures. Not to mention fuel types and plug temps...
    Learn that sh!t man.. It'll take you all winter, to dial it in...;)
