So I have lost my only key, and I live no where near a lock smith that can work on the actual ignition. Another thread posted here says to pop the door locks off and have the lock smith work from these, which I have. Next week they will be sent off. However what makes me nervous about this is door lock tumblers are not as sensitive as ignition tumblers. Case in point I once had another key cut from the original and it would only work in the door, not the ignition. Anyway, if this fails has anyone HotWired one of these before, perhaps made it a push button start? What about the lock pins in the steering wheel, drill them out? Thoughts, advice... Keeping in mind the nearest locksmith is over 100 kilometers away.
