Ok heres the situation I've created with the msd in the lefty's. I used the first thing i saw that i could drill a hole in. I had envisioned something much more elaborate but, this is working so far. 1/4" aluminum angle...
looks pretty good, i have some different size angle at the shop believe i'll give a whirl. you all have been very helpful.. are you familiar with the lift kits, i though about puttin a 2 or 3 inch under mine, and have read that 3's are too much have you tried either
I haven't tried the lift kits. I really don't think they are necessary. They look cool but, provoke other issues. I've only had one really stuck once and no amount of lift would have stopped it from sinking to the frame in the sand. I think the best investment would be a tire with the traction best suited for your environment. In a size that fits your truck. I'm thinking of going with a tractor lug when its time to replace these multitrac's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ_nD-diLMY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=locWAUEcxOQ
rather than a strut spacer lift kit i would evaluate the activity of your front springs. mine are crap. my truck has almost no compression left in the springs but when i jack it up it moves 4 inches up before the tires come off the ground. i need about a 2" longer spring to get things cetered for a decent ride.
