Shift bushings for '95 Suzuki Carry DD51T?

I have a '95 Suzuki Carry DD51T 5spd, 4wd. The transmission shifts smoothly most of the time, but very occasionally will lock up or out of gear. With other vehicles I've had in the past, this usually was due to worn shift lever bushings. I'd like to replace them in this truck, but I can't find a listing specific to this model. However, they are readily available for a similar vintage Suzuki Samurai. Does the Samurai use the same or similar enough shift mechanism that I could use that bushing kit?

No I haven't though I have not been looking for a while ...distracted to other projects.

  5. I had ordered bushings for my truck a while ago through Amayama... they never sent me an invoice for the order and it's been a few months now so I suppose they're probably out of stock. I should get back on top of that, thanks for the reminder.

I'm getting some 8mm bore x 10mm OD flange bushing on amazon and see how they work on the shift links. I really need the shift lever plastic bushing more than anything but not sure if I can source something in the US (rockauto etc) that would work yet.

As long as we are on the same engine type (91 DD51B) .... Do you happen to know a source for a stock type muffler? and perhaps the pipes too. Living in the NE ...things like that take a beating in winter.

I would check ebay. I bet someone sells a bolt on for that.
