Seriously looking to buy a truck

I'm looking to buy a replacement mini for my current S83p. It is a good truck but the latest carb issue nearly drove me crazy (see my lengthy rant in the Daihatsu chat for that). I think I have the ideal truck in mind, but finding it is going to be difficult.

I'm not picky about the make. Daihatsu would be my first choice because of my experience with this one. But Suzuki or Mitsi would be considered, or others if they are worthy.

    extended cab
    EFI (a must!)
    ac and heat
    4 or 5 spd manual
    hi and lo 4wd
diff lockers at least in the rear
scissor lift bed(this s not a deal breaker, only a wishful item).

It can be totally stock or already modified with lift, tires, and paint. My version would be black with a camo border running all the around the middle with heavy springs and a 3" lift with 23" Grim Reaper tires on aluminum wheels. Tracks would be a bonus like hitting the lottery!

If anybody has knowledge of one close to this in good condition please let me know. I would also consider a trade for my current truck plus the difference your way.

2016 Daihatsu Jumbo Climber, 5 speed, lo/high, 4wd, ac, diff lock rear, scissor lift or scissor/dump, 3" lift, 23" Grim Reaper, aluminum wheels, Camoplast Tatou 4s tracks plus paint to your specs. I can do it but your looking at over 30K.

Finding a used to meet your specs is about impossible.

What can you do it for minus the tracks and scissor/dump with just camoplast without paint?

I checked out the site but when I put in USA it said export is only available for 1990 or older vehicles 25 years or older. Is this true? If so, then this option is out...

See my first post under this thread, post #14:

Figured I better jump in on this discussion. You can now bring up to 1991 models over now with no issues. Model years on in Japan are figured a little differently so you actually have a little wiggle room on model years. The newer trucks (less then 25 years old) can be brought over just with some red tape.

EFI regularly started in 99'. Seems there were a few special models that got a little earlier. It took a year or two once the trucks went to 550 to 660 (1990) for them to go for 4 to 5 speed so your 5 speed request won't be an issue. Definitely go for the hi / low. I would have never thought this initially but I have found in the 5 years of owning my truck, the two speed transfer case is more valuable to me on the farm than the diff lock. Rear diff lock isn't a needle in a haystack but it can be a little difficult to find. Contrary to all the arguments on this forum, there are no OEM front lockers. Concerning Daihatsu, the "Climber" series in the Hijet is an package that includes diff lock, sort of like a FX4 Ford or Z71 Chevy. I can't believe how many Craigslist ads I'll regularly find that advertise their mini truck has front and rear lockers.

Been trolling here since 09', joined in 11' and have watched the Axle Lock vs Diff Lock debate go round and round, especially concerning the Carry's. Dave Price sums is up nicely here:

David and Rika at Yamagin (minitruckdealer.com) are amazing to deal with. They import straight from Japan to Los Angeles and regularly receive containers. As I mention in the above thread, they are one of two companies that have actually EPA certified several engine families and can bring over whatever you want.
