Sambar Water pump and timing belt

    Hello, Does anyone know the cross reference number for Water pump and timing belt?? or there are only OEM? thanks!

    You can get aftermarket, but it depends where you are looking. Like are you going to walk in and find one at NAPA? Nope.

    But you should define your year and whatnot to make sure you get the right information.


    Where are you planning on looking for your parts? Have you contacted a parts dealer or the dealer you got your truck from?

    Thanks a lot! do you have any suggestion that where i should look for my parts? I'm looking for an aftermarket, i have an 1990 Sambar Van, those parts should be as same as the truck right? thanks!

    anyone know the recommended milaege that this job should be done at?

    Timing belt should be done before 100KM.

    Usually, you do the water pump and the timing tensioner at the same time, since all that stuff has to come out to do the pump.

    The pump itself will quite often start to leak. Thats when it should be done otherwise. ;)


    Eeric - The pump should be a GMB-GWSU17A or equivelant
    Aftermarket Timing belt should be a V9152F001
