My emergency brake has been marginal. Since the front brakes have been totally neglected and need new rotors and pads, I thought the rear would need new shoes. I read a post that said Justy shoes would fit.

Rockauto has Justy shoes cheap (about $10 to my door), so I got a set and tore into the rear brakes. The good news is, the Justy shoes would have worked. The bad news (also good news) is that I don’t need them. Old ones have at least 3/4 left. After messing with it, I learned some Sambar stuff for the 3 hrs of my life i’ll never get back.

o_OJust need to adjust the emergency brake.

I put 285,000-miles on a 77 Toyota truck I bought new. I bought new rear shoes, when I did the front pads the first time. I did the front pads about four time, turned the rotors once. Never installed the rear shoes. Adjusted the e-brake Cabela’s several time as it stretched.

Yeah, I've done that before. At least you have some shoes you can sell on ebay for a Sambar...

Check our brakes if you can't find them. We should have them in stock.
