S83p vacuum jet?

Diagrams point it out as a jet, its yellow and there are 2 befor the choke breaker/pull off. What are these called? Google search only brings up 1 reference and someone in that thread refers to it as a resonator but continuing into the Google rabbit hole i hit a dead end.
