Was driving my carry around the farm yesterday and it suddenly started running rough and blowing white smoke out the tailpipe. Checked to see if any wires came loose or anything obvious wrong. Was getting dark so parked it for the night on my driveway on a slight incline. This morning there was a big puddle of gasoline that was dripping out of the exhaust connection in front of the rear axle. It was also dripping out at the connection right out the motor right where the oxygen sensor is located. The exhaust donut there must have been a better seal. I don't know what happened here? I thought maybe a sparkplug wire came loose or a connection to one of the injectors, but could not see any loose wires. In fact I don't see where the sparkplugs are on this motor! Any help would be appreciated, as I am not familiar with these motors. It is a 1999 Carry DB52T with F6A engine not 2001 as listed in the title
Update: There was a bad fuel injector that was sticking open and flooding the cylinder. Oil was also full of fuel. Installed a new injector, changed oil and filter. now runs fine again.
Thanks for the follow-up as to the excess fuel. A;ways good to hear what happened. I am not familiar with the F6A as mine has a K6A, but the plugs on mine are hidden under a small cover that is mounted on top of the Valve Cover with screws. Fred
