Rubber Window Trim

I've noticed whenever I try and wash my truck, if I wipe over the black rubber trim around the windows they seem to "bleed" black gunk (over the cloth and the truck body).

Is there a way to fix this, or am I going to have to try and replace the gaskets to fix it?

I really want to get it painted, but there's no sense spending some $$ on new paint when the trim is just going to ruin it.

I have had that problem too, I used 409 cleaner and gave them a gooood scrubbing. It worked for me so give it a try.:pop:

    Cool, will try it out.

Is this the 409 cleaner you're referring to? http://www.formula409.com/

Any particular variety of it (general purpose, degreaser)?

YA that's it, I get the degreaser so I can use it for other things.
