I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to buy an MD620584 air filter from that ships to Canada.
All the sites I've found so far want USD and the conversion rate is murder.

As for the thermostat gasket, I've decided its cheaper just to try and make my own. What kind of material should I use and is some kind of sealent such as Gasgacinch necessary? Some places say it is, but they're also trying to sell me sealants. Other places say its fine to just not bother.

Not sure on the filter, for the gasket I use felpro gasket material from local auto parts store. Don’t really need any sealant on gasket but a skim won’t hurt if you have pitting or porosity going on.

    Parts order
    >> Have you tried
    - www.amayama.com

    Gaskets
    >> You shouldn't mix sealant with a gasket, one or the other. Cut yourself a gasket or clean the surface and use the Permatex ( gray I think ) that's made for this application

Partsouq only shows the OEM. Amayama has aftermarket options in stock

I tried them first, unfortunately all they have for air filters are suzuki models. Good guess though!

Amayama looks to have the cheapest deal I could find, cross referening the part number they got it looks like it should fit. I'll update this thread when it gets here and confirm if it does or not.

As for the gasket, I made my own with a sheet of rubber cellulose, it didn't look pretty. But it seems to have run without any leaks. I put it back in, sans thermostat and sprayed a garden house through the thermostat block as part of my coolant flush. No leaks then I let it run with coolant in it for about 20-30 minutes. Still no leaks! So I think its good.
