I find that I learn a lot from guys in other parts of the country and what they are trying. If we make it regional, I feel we would loose some of what makes this forum so unique, our wide areas of expertise. For now, let's keep it simple and maybe revisit later after more ideas are discussed. Just my two cents worth.

Hi. I’m new to this forum and mini’s. May I ask why seeking advice and guidance from more experience members how to be “legal” would be a bad thing? I have no desire to do anything illegal so if it is frowned upon to ask forum experts (you guys:)), who would you, suggest I ask?

Thanks in advance for any polite assistance.

Mini Trucks not EPA certified to be driven on the Roads.

Many will and do talk about using their mini trucks on the road here in the US. Many states allow their use on their roads. The problem that exists is they have been imported for the most part as a (speed restricted) off-road use only vehicle. All current EPA certifications are for off-road use only. So you using it on the road is a violation of a federal law. Your state may say ok to you driving it on their roads but the federal government is not ok with it.

To make it "legal" would involve having them crash tested and EPA tested to a higher standard than they are currently tested to. And of course all this costs lots of $$.

I hope this gives you some understanding.
