One inch lift??

I have a 99 s210 and I want to do a very mild off-road setup. 14" wheels with 165/65r14 mudstar radials (only one inch larger diameter than stock) and a one inch lift. Is there such a thing? Perhaps a body lift? I just don't four wheel enough to deal with torn cv boots, screwy driveline angles and poor alignment. Thanks!

    You fitted 14" rims already?
    wheel spacers?

Check Yahoo Auctions Japan for a lift kit.
You might see enough pictures there to tell you how to make your own lift kit (or pay someone to fabricate.).

If you think a body lift is enough, get someone to make delrin or aluminum spacers that will work with the original rubber bushings.

Stock 1990 Miata wheels with 195/60r14 and all they rubbed was the front mud flaps. The tires are getting replaced, though. Too large in diameter and they destroy the acceleration

165/65 r14 tires will fit without a lift. I have a Nankang mad tire on my 08 Hijet and I found the tire to be a fair bit less grippy on wet pavement. Tires wear well and of road fine but you do some slipping around in the rain. I really noticed when I stuck our Yaris Michelins on the truck just to check out clearances and drove around on them for a couple weeks, though the truck still slipped in the wet it was nowhere near the same as the Nankangs.

So the Mazda wheels are the same bolt pattern?
I don't think it's the same pattern as my 1996 Hijet.
I like the idea of having Light Truck tires so maybe I'll order a set from Japan for my 12" wheels.

S210ps are 4x100, not 4x110, so yes, same as Miata, Civic, etc. Much easier to find wheels for

See above. I have 195/60/14s on it now with no lift.

I swapped out the front struts with adjustable coilovers (late 80s corolla). They allowed me to raise or lower up to 3in, as well as adjust load and dampening

I used the ones that came with the struts.
It definitely is not a Is cadillac ride, but they do the job for a ranch truck.

Do you know if that kit will fit my S83p ?

I would think so, as they are pretty much the same vehicle, but maybe someone with more inside knowledge knows if both use the same struts

Are the corolla struts taller did the stock struts in our Hijet? is that how it gets the lift? I just need to know if I need to order a lift kit plus the Corolla struts. i’m only looking for a 2 to 3 inch lift, and if I don’t have to order both kits that would save me some money.

You definitely do not need a lift (for front anyway)

The corolla struts allow you to raise (or lower) up to 3 inches and have a bit of adjustment on dampening and camber
