Oil?

    How many quarts of oil does the Sambar 4cyl hold? And, is Synthetic oil recommended? And, what weight oil

    I don't know the capacity...just dumped it in until it was at the appropriate level. Never measured it. IMO - synthetic is always recommended, but many use dino oil with no problems. Suit yourself and enjiy your mini.

    I just changed the oil in mine the other day. I would like to meet the engineer who desinged the oil filter location but that is another story. Anyway, mine held just a little over three quarts. It it a 99 4 banger auto with a supercharger. I don't know it that makes a difference.

    Ok, I' am in Iowa. It's in the low 20's Am I ok with a 5w30?

    I would think so...

    I think that would be fine. That is what I have here in Oklahoma. I will put 10W40 in mine when I change it next and it is warmer......
