Sometimes, but not always, my DB51T has no bottom end power in each of the 4 gears - any ideas?

As well, when this randomly occurs, it will then shut off at idle - however, it tends to run fine again after this occurs

I have now done the following:
    - Oil change (new oil/filter)
    - Coolant Flush (new coolant)
    - Installed new thermostat
    - Cleaned contacts in distributor cap
    - Installed new Air filter
    - Replaced spark plugs

Is it time to turn my attention to the carb?

I see this post is fairly old but I to have experienced similar issues as this on a couple occasions... Anyone ever help this guy out? JPNmini what did you ever do? Lagging in the bottom end with every gear change. Only does it on occasions. I thought at one time it only did it after driving it really hard, but today it did it on me and I had just left the yard. The motor wasn't even fully warm. It doesn't feel as if its starving for gas, if anything maybe to much gas?? Very bogged feeling as if you were pulling a heavy load. Any Ideas?
