Nice find. Nice driving is a understatement - Wow! Try as I might the Sambar just doesn't have the raw H.P. to do those fancy turns
Very good driver-I was looking at importing a Subaru done up to the nuts by someone in Japan actually Here is one of his many other vids http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDi0MZJZ-w0
I'm with Timetripper.....my mini's lack of grunt is the only thing holding me back from making that guy look like a rookie!
Looks expensive. Guess if he runs out of sponsors, there is always Hollywood. Drifting the Mini: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCBdQqUGnjE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuD3VdSID-4&feature=related
I'm speechless, truly jaw dropping. Can we bolt a small block in the bed of a mini and do this!?! lol.
My S/C Sambar has a Mentor My S/C Sambar has a "Mentor". It is also a Subaru. I can only hope mine performs 1/2 as well. This will be a 'tough act' to follow
Very Impressive. Makes me proud to own a subaru (though that WRX looks like a very distant relative to my truck!). I could definitely see how a stock sambar s/c with auto all wheel drive would handle the turns like crazy (50/50 weight ratio and all). Mine is fun through the turns, but because it has the 4" body lift, I don't push it like I would in a stock height sambar. Good stuff.
A couple more very cool Ken Block videos. 171 ft jump. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDi0MZJZ-w0 Really cool rally snowboarding video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av0VsTxJd78 -Greg
