if the price is higher than i want to pay for something i ask for a discount, and believe it or not, i usually get it... even at chain stores. just yesterday my dodge was in the dealership service center for the check engine light and a rough idle condition. turned out to be a crack in the top of the gas tank. the quote was $850 :eek:uch: i told the guy that was too much, and guess what? he got it down nearly a hundred bucks. you can't get a better price if you don't ask :D

my dad would say "if you don't ask you don't get" i guess what i was trying to get across is once the questions is asked be happy with the answer you get, and remember you get a lot more with honey then vinegar...what i trying to say is be nice to people and you won't believe what you will get. :D

I also like getting people when desperation has set in--like a vulture:eek:
