I spent some time under the truck for the first time today. I must admit, I am not a mechanic and am learning as I got. A few things I noticed with pictures: 1.) The bottom of the transmission has a machined hole where I can see the flywheel. It is not threaded. Just to the rear of that are machined slots. Just wanted to make sure this is normal: http://mousetrapfitness.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/IMG_2044.jpg http://mousetrapfitness.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/IMG_2050.jpg 2.) What is this canister on the drivers side, under the bed behind the drivers seat: http://mousetrapfitness.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/IMG_2063.jpg 3.) Any tips one what to do with this cable? The person who lifted the truck clearly did not route the cable correctly. Is there some sort of heat wrap to protect it? I would like to avoid having to undo the suspension: http://mousetrapfitness.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/IMG_2063.jpg Thanks you!
Agree with littlesuzie on the charcoal canister. And when i get home ill have to check mine to see if it has that hole in it. if i remember correctly there is a cap for that hole on mine. Your third picture is of the canister again, please repost a picture of what cable you are talking about.
