I finally got the new wheels yesterday!! These are RTX Spark 14x5.5 4x100 with +38 offset. Tires are Lexani 175/65R14. Took them to Costco to mount and balance and installed them today at home. So far no rubbing or strange noises. Whew, what a relief, I had a pretty good idea they would it but really glad they do! Very happy with the look!
Not a fan of the “rubber band” sidewall look. Makes the ride too harsh IMO. That’s a tough sell in California as it will never pass smog so needs to leave the state. Will be interesting to see what it brings.
Arizona would be a great landing spot! I lived in Patagonia, Az which is about 60 miles south of Tucson, 20 miles from the border with Mexico. No annual smog inspection or even a safety inspection. Mostly 2 lane roads with 55 mph speed limits, perfect for a Kei vehicle!
