We have just finished our new and improved long travel struts. We had them built in Japan and they turned out awesome. They are rebuildable which is a bonus. Also they are camber adjustable! Take a look at the pics. This is the first set I am bringing back this week from Japan to install and play with. They are built of stainless steel (that's what they said in Japanese but I have to check more to see what actually it is-said they will never rust and called it stainless in Japanese). We can also have them built out of aluminum for the body and will be a little cheaper but suggest the st.steel for strength and longevity. If we can get some orders for at least a dozen we can get better pricing. I had the original sets made by my machinist in Canada and I had to retail them for 1300$ to make it worthwhile-and those were nowhere near as good as these new ones with the adjustability and larger cylinder etc. etc. I am still negotiating pricing right now but believe they will be somewhere in the neighborhood of $2000CAN. I know that sounds like a lot of money and it is, but that is with a very small markup-if I can get a commitment for a decent size order I can have them built cheaper. PLease take a look and let me know if anyone is interested. Will fit, Daihatsu Hijet, and Suzuki Carry from 1990 up.
