need advice asap!!!!

    I just put my crank in I got the green marked bearings the stock ones didnt have no color crank was turn downed .010 under. Should there be any play at all with the crank I didnt think there should be.:frustration:

    Did they give me the wrong bearings? no color is 2.002-2.006
    Green is 1.996-2.000
    The service data showed: Gap Crankshaft Bearing: Benchmark: 0.020-0.040
    Usage Limit: 0.065

    Milt I need your help or anyone else this thing has got me puzzled. If there wrong I need to get the others ordered. Thanks

    Did you turn down the crank? There shouldn't be any noticable play.

    Have you plastigauged the journals? If not, do that and report back with the results.
