I was going to give you a call this week but might as well do it here. Cheaper. 1992 Hijet, how much for a pair of used struts? Also cap and rotor, front wheel bearings and front brake pads. If you have a complete strut assembly with good wheel bearing and the price is right I might consider them. I won't need the springs, I'm running a heavier 2" lift spring. The bearings on our shop truck have "play" in them but aren't making noise but there should be no perceivable play. Dave

Need schematic of front wheel bearing/cv joint assembly. Castle nut keeps backing off in three to four miles, after replacing cv joint. Any suggestions?
Seems to me that the wheel bearings would be trying to lock up if its shearing the cotter pin and backing off the nut???? I'd pull it down and check the wheel bearing.
