Did you get a 3520-1 from your broker? It reports your vehicle is exempt from federal emmisions regulations as it is over 21 years old. You should be able to show it to someone to back them off. I have to provide the original to the DMV here to register and title it. They also need the HS-7 that reports it as exempt from federal safely standards as it is over 25 years old. Even though it should be intuitive that it is exempt!
