Can anyone tell me how to remove the front axle from the diff on my 95 MiniCab? I know there is a "circlip" retainer, but I can't find it. I have the outboard (rods, hub, etc) apart already. But I can't see a way to pull the inboard spined shaft out. A local driveline repair shop can re-build the joints and replace boots, but I have to take them the shaft(s). Appreciate any help.

You should just be able to pop them out with a little coaxing. Get a prybar between the axle cup and the housing and give it a pop to break it loose.

give it a tug and it should pop out of the diff.

Thanks for the tips Gentlemen. I'll give it a try and let you know how (if) it comes out. Can the retainer clips on the in-board end of the axle be re-used, do you know?
