Think we have enough content to start our own channel? Like a hunting and fishing channel, but nothing but Minitrucks and stuff. Just an idea.. I work for a broadcast company, we use to broadcast The Sportsman Channel out of here, if ya heard that one. I remember when they had just a few shows.. ---- PM me if you want to put you videos on the channel.
A mini truck channel is a great idea. Dealers, part suppliers, owners of all kinds could sponsor and support the show. I have 30 plus years in the communications industry, and would love to help get it off the ground. Lets do it!!!!!

We could all make a short clip of our vehicles, maybe a walk around with year model info etc. might make it easier for others to identify what they have or are looking for...a segment called "can stuff99 fit into your truck"..since he's like 6'7" or something
This is also an excellent way to advertise these little gems and get them in the public view. Tons of video will be needed, basic trucks, modified trucks, also all the add ons that have been added, from paint, logos, tires, vinyl wraps, lifts, lights, the list goes on and on. If some dealers get involved, this would also advertise them, get more people knowing where to get them, and let the people know just how much work and play time can be gotten from these little work horses. Although, some folks are literally going to bust their butts putting it all together, I can see how this could actually work. Need to get some folks together for a face to face meeting, put some ideas on paper, look for some advertising (sorry, all this work will cost a little money) and then we need to look for some great sounding voice and face ( voice anyway, looks are not really top of the list) to sell this to the public. (thinking out loud here, who knows, we might even find the new Stacy David of Mini Trucks). Pad, pencil, and ideas are going together as we speak.

I'll definitely support the cause with content and fun stuff. Maybe its a good reason to get that Canon HD camcorder I've wanted for so long.

It looks totally different now. 2"lift, itp wheels, maxxis cerros tires, dark gray paint, cab marker lights, and a tractor stack with a rain cap! Well ya have to figure every car show has a tall guy and a short guy (think "Top Gear")if they fit in a car you can assume everyone in between will find a comfortable position...you being 6'7" are kinda our resident tall dude
lol starpuss wouldn't that be the show 'breaking point'? Although it would be nice to take half a dozen of these trucks to some foreign Swiss alps race track and then get handed a challenge from some guy in a white lab coat. and sure. ill be the resident 'tall guy' lol
Remember the old ford and chevy commercials where they would dump a load of rock in the bed from as high as the loader would reach? We probably shouldnt do that.
I guess one question of many would be, what else would be put on the channel. I'm guessing there isn't enough mini truck videos to keep it running 24/7. So what would be some other things that we could add in.
Perhaps a mini of the month? At the end of the year, each mini of the month could be voted on for the "King of the Kei's". Just a brief video of the mini in action, mods, short history, ect?
maybe hunting or fishing show's? In 2-3 months I am having a 35km foot race. 10 people race in crown land. Groups of 2... First one to get to the end wins $2500.00 and they have 2 days. All will be video taped They will have to hunt there food. As of right now I have 5 people that want to do it and I am looking for more. - They will all have 100% the same gear so no one will cheat. Compass and map they will get. NO gps.
Yeah that would work. Maybe 20% hunting & fishing, 20% Something else and 60% Minitrucks. Awesome! That sounds fun.
The goal is to push it to local tv air stations. First I think we would do the online tv to get a viewership then, go to local air. Once I get an idea of home much content we have, I'll get a better idea of how long it would take to make it happen. So if you know anyone that has video that want to be on tv, push them here to contact me. I think its a great way to get more out on the mini trucks and what DannyM said up in the other posts, ways for dealers, owners, sponsor to get their name out there.
