Hi, I am probably going to get a mini truck very soon. From what I can tell, they are 4 ft 6" wide. Heres the question; I have a go kart that is nearing completion, it is a project with a diesel air cooled engine, and toyota transmission and transfer case. It is 4 ft wide, and 11 ft long. Has toyota 1/4 ton truck axles under it, about to be installed. The axles are wide enough that the tires mostly stick out past the body. Not ideal, but good enough for a toy. So, when I get a mini truck, are toyota 1/4 ton axles a decent swap for a mini truck, or would they be a downgrade? The front and rear axles are solid axle style, and 4.10 ratio I believe. I just thought if I swaped the axles from the go cart to mini truck, and put the mini truck axles on the go kart, the width and tire size might be good for the mini truck, and the width of the mini truck axles might suit my go kart better.
