2023 Hijet, 2500 km. Smelled like gas leaking, bottom of air filter box was dripping gas. Opened the box and this round metal ring fell out, any ideas what it might be?
My dealer said it is an air reducer. When the truck was shipped here from Japan it had a GPS controlled speed limiter on it which kept the speed to a max. of 20mph. Over 20 and the fuel was shut off. I didn't think there was any mechanical parts involved. Ran it today and didn't see any more gas on the air filter box. Not sure, but is that the fuel pump right above the air filter? Thanks for any help, not many Hijet's around here or mechanics that want to work on them.
