After reading indianajasons post another thought came to mind, since the EB has seperate cables from each rear wheel going into one cable. Half the work is already done for the rear. I'd rather install a LSD or weld it up, it depends on what you can afford. This thread has went way off base from the original starter post but it would make a good discussion topic for a thread of it's own.
i'll be interested in one for front & rear when you get them. can i just send you my chunks and have u install them?
I will install them for you. Some of the Suz. have a chunk with 4 spider gears in them. These will not work with the limited slip kits Call me in about 3 months. 205 755-4094
I do not know, I haven't had a chance to check one out yet. I have kits for the older ones. They might fit. phone 205 755-4094 Thanks, Allan
limited slips got any kits in yet looking for front and rear misu 96 tired of getting out to push every time i hit a little hole
To put it another way- it acts like a brake, to help the axle gears turn at the same rate, not one faster than the other. I haven't seen any difference in turning. Price for two kits at once-$560. Allan __________________ watch movies online
so has anyone tried rear end oil that is 75w-120 ish cuz its heavier to make both tire spin more with out using a lsd kit? i know it sounds stupid but my father says i should try that befor openin the read end to see if its got 2 or 4 spider gear to put in a lsd kit and does anyone know someone with a factory rearend with diff lock for sale with all the wiring and hoses and what not thanks
i didnt think it would but there no telling him hes wrong can i ask y it would help and if u have tried it so i can tell him thanks
All it'll do is make your diff slightly stiffer. It might help with a cold diff on ice but as soon as the lubricant heats up it'll do its job... which is to lubricate NOT to stiffen. It's like trying to pull a car with chewing gum, sure it'll do something but it's not up to the task of actually pulling the car.
Lol ok I didn't think it would work but my father is a lil hard headed so I got to ask lol. But on another note is there a way of know if the lsd kit will work with out opening the rear diff? I heard allens will work with 2 ring gears or something but not with 4 or something like that thanks guys
Yes I know u have to open the rear diff. I don't know what I was tryin to put on here but its not wat I meant sorry was real busy three people talkin to me at once tryin to type sucks lol
ok so i put in the lsd kit i got every thing put back to gather but i still got to fill up the diff and bleed brake lines it took me and dad prolly 4 hours(we had no clue how to take the rear diff apart) i had to take my brake covers most the way off for my axle to come loose but once i figured it out it was off and the chunk layin in my heads in 10 mins. i would have taken pixs but i had rearend oil to my elbows tomorrow i will take it for a test drive once i lub her back up and bleed the brakes:frustration:
burn out all the way through 2 and part of third till i let out with the all trails on drive on heavy pack gravel so all is good its spinning both tires now till i cross our creek then there is a need for locker till u find 4 wheel drive all in all a great upgrade
