Hey guys, need some help please. I bought a 1991 Ks4 sambar carbureted off a guy 600km out of town, drove fine for 50km towards home then the engine quietly quit on the highway at 80kmh. Took everything apart and the water pump seized snapping the timing belt in half

I towed it back to his house and he ordered a timing kit for it and will install it so I can pick it up again in a week. Can anyone confirm for sure that 1991 carbureted are non interference? Pulled a plug and it's not damaged and it quit quietly plus from what I've searched on here leads me to believe it's non interference but I need to be sure. Thanks!

Just an update for anyone searching about this, the clover 4 engine is indeed non interference and is one of the few that are not so. Put a new timing belt and water pump on and all is good in the forest again
