Here's some pics I found of some kei truck performance upgrades. This is a Wagon R engine mounted sideways. Strut tower brace? Watch your shins. Intercooler... This truck has a cappuccino engine. (same block as stock carry engine) Custom Dash panel.
I have a spare aftermarket ecu, potentially enough resources/skills/money to get a intake and exhaust manifold made , exhaust tubing, injectors...... the idea of turbocharging my hijet has crossed my mind many times. But gearbox and differential would be the letdown i think. And i have my Starion for my turbocharged needs,,,,, when i finish it...
these little trucks are just the bastard child of creativity. it seems no one minds what a monster it becomes, they are all function over fashion I LOVE IT!!
