Hi, I am recently working on an excavation project and thinking of investing in an advanced excavator. However, the recent import law and tariffs have increased the total cost of the equipment. Is it worth investing in new equipment at this time? Meanwhile, I am also thinking of buying used heavy equipment as it would be an economical and sustainable option for my company. What do you guys suggest? If I go for importing a new equipment what hurdles I should expect to face? Have you recently got your equipment from across the border?
I saw a video from Mayberry in which Tony mentioned they were looking into importing Chinese excavator equipment, including small track hoes and such. But I don't know if they ever went through with it.
