I'm swopping out my 659cc for a fuel injected ,1.3L hijet engine,1998 S85.i can't find the fuel pump Where did they put it? In the tank or is it mechanical?
On the S85 the workshop manual mentions on page FU-3: the fuel pump is a membrane type pump operated by a camshaft eccentric thru a rod.An external lever makes it possible to actuate the pump manually. Pumping capacity 75 l/h at 1500 rpm. feed pressure 0.55-0.65 bar. Have a look at the side of the cylinder head, there the pump should be. vehicle models S85LP-TRMD S85LP-TRMCD S85LP-TRMD/R S85LV-ZBRMD S85LV-ZNDMD S85LV-ZBRMD/R engine LDW 1204/P Rear, 2-wheel drive

I bought the engine,5speed gear box, the prop shaft and rear end from RetrowerX automotive in the UK. Yeah he told me they put the pump in the tanks.
