How to lower rear on HiJet Deck Van?

I now have the lift kit removed and the DeckVan looks and rides MUCH better. But I'm looking to get the rear lower. (I will be going with adjustable coil overs up front)

Any insight on how to get the rear lower will help!

You probably need to use shorter springs if they are coils. Otherwise if they are leaf springs, you can mount the axle over instead of under the leafs. I don't know what a hijet deck van rear end config is like.

You should add the make/model/year to your signature so we can help you better too!

Details added to signature, great idea!

The rear is leaf spring and shocks, no springs.

Are there axle mounting kits available to repositioning the leafs under the axle instead of over?

yes, the kit is already installed on your deck van. The u-bolts come off, you flip them upside down, and put the springs on top of the axle. Although I’m not sure if the springs will clear the ground once they’re mounted under the axle

isn't there normally a flat perch for the leaf springs to sit on? (I'm not home to look right now to confirm)

Also, you mean leaf springs under" the axle correct/ this would lower the DeckVan by approximately the diameter of the axle

yes, it may be a good idea to place a metal plate on the bottom side so you can put the bolts through. Just use the original plates that are mounted to the springs as a template so you can drill the holes in the right spot. The plate will go under the springs instead of on top. If your plates are welded to the rear end, you may need to just purchase some longer u bolts, or some 10.9 hardened all thread should be sufficient
