I purchased a locking differential for my 93 s83p hijet. But after getting it, I realize the gear ratio might not be the same. I tried the turning the tire and counting the shaft revolution, but it wasn't working out. There's no cover on these to take off and count teeth on gears. Taking both differentials apart seems a little daunting Any suggestions?
Secure one of the rear tires, and then turn the input, and see how many turns it takes to turn the loose tire once.
