My '92 MiniCab has mysteriously developed a high idle which so far I can't resolve. Both fast idle, and regular idle screws are backed off, but it still races at idle. Anyone have any ideas?
Sticking throttle or sticking needle valve or float in the float bowl? I would try running some SeaFoam through it or hitting it all over with carburetor cleaner to see if it clears up. Try tapping gently on the float bowl to see if that makes a difference. Your float could have a leak so it doesn't close the needle all the way. Vacuum leaks can sometimes cause idle issues as well.
