i have a 1990 Cary and I think the heater core is gone. Moving snow and no heat and windows fog where I couldn't see. How much trouble and how much cost? Also who handles them? Thanks dwest
First, start by comferming that it is the core that is plugged. Feel the lines coming up from the floor, one should be hot. Reverse flush the rad and core, removing as much debris as possible. This sometimes can restore heat in the cabin. You can try GR Imports for a used core if it turns out plugged, or remove the core and bring it to a nearby rad shop to have it recored. Good luck.
