gear fluids

    HI I got a question about gear fluids how much difference does it make to go with 80 90 other than a 75 90 fluid in a suzuki any help on this would be greatly appreciated tks.

    It depends on what temperatures you have locally. 80w90 works just fine in warm weather. Here we get down to -40 and a synthetic 75w90 makes a world of difference. Heavier gear oil robs a lot of power in the cold as well.
