Front suspension CLUNK!

I installed a set of heavier duty front springs. Now when I come into a pot hole or bump in the road my shocks go Bang! or Clunk! when the extend. I felt pretty sure about my reassembly but maybe my shocks are toast? or both? Anyone have this experience/offer a remedy or suggestion.

I started on a 2" lift but after fitting the strut spacer and standing the strut back up to reinstall, the spring was hitting the brake line & bracket. I had the offset spacer correctly clocked.

I have noticed the same thing wit my '92 MiniCab, and am looking for a solution.
For the life of me, I can't determine if it's coming from the front, or rear.
I have replaced the front struts, the rear shocks, and the rear shackle bushings.

I just replaced the front springs with 225 pound springs same thing when the suspension is maxed out
