1995 Suzuki f6a engine the four wheel drive doesn’t engage. We replaced the lock out switch in dash , the computer was changed and it doesn’t engage. We have power to switch at differential . Who has some answers ?
I have a 94 dd51 intermittent 4 wheel drive when working can hear relay clicking in dash have had dash apart twice cannot find relay pretty sure this is the problem because I have ran all the wiring in vacuum lines any information on location of relay would be greatly appreciated
Found the problem it was in the front differential. I pulled of the front cover plate to get to the fork pin . This pin was stuck in place . Free the pin up give it some love oil and put it all back together.
This seems to be a common problem with these trucks I've seen similar posts on other forms have seen where some newer models are described as having a computer box behind the glove box did not find that mine think it's too old but I do hear a relay clicking somewhere back there unfortunately it stops making noise before I can locate it
That's great I can swap vacuum lines on my front differential and get it to shift so don't think sticking their is my problem I'll continue to wait for that relay to click again and try to find it
When I jack up the truck all tires above the ground . I turn the wheels and hear a clicking noise that lead me to the front end. The other control box you are looking for is above the clutch pedal on the firer wall . The wirer harness plugs into it and has only one mounting screw.might have a number 38885-50f10
Hey thanks for the tip as soon as I figure out how to get my head in there I'll find it. These things are not fat old man friendly. Thanks for the help
Just laid eyes on the relay box by using my camera on my phone going to be tricky to get to thanks again for the tip Willie
New question Has anyone had problems with the front differential hub free wheel lock? The driver side front wheel when up on stands I can stop the right front wheel in 4wheel drive. Im wondering if this part moves or is fixed in position.?
