Found a good deal on 8 inch wide wheels, is that too big?

I have a 1997 hijet with 3 inch lift that needs wheels and tires.

Sticking with 12" wheels I can either get the common ITP SS aluminum wheels that are 7" wide 2/5" offset for $80
    -or-
I have found hiper carbon fiber wheels with beadlock for same price as the size is being discontinued. I run them on my atv and love them, normally very expensive wheels. Only issue is that they only come in 12x8" with 4/4" offset.

I will be running 24x8 or 25x8 front tires and undecided between 8 or 10 inch rears.

Just looking for input. Do you guys think the 8 wide wheel is too much? Will the 4/4 offset cause problems.
