Here is the lighting section. now I see how I did that. (insert) Just decided to do the whole section, so you all have it.
Ok Bert, you're a hero! So far I've learned that short coupler is a connector, and the little characters along the wires are the colors. The square E and square D symbols elude me still. They're always next to the wire colors. Any knowledge? (Yes, I know I'm on the turn signal page, not the parking lights. There's a guy on the FB group that posted a bit about his troubles with install using parking lights, and actually took the alarm off.) So, from what I see, the signals are the signals are the signals. Unless they're hazards. But that's just the first switch, and if hazards are off, then signals are usable. I'm thinking I can just splice my alarm flash to either red dots or green dots.
if you tap into the turn signals you will need to use diodes to keep them from turning ON all, when you signal L or R. E and D are which harness wire are in.
Bert, would you know the color of the brake light Wire? I am also wondering where is might be along the frame rails, perhaps where the spare tire is mounted? I've added additional lights to the headache rack and would like to tap into the wiring. I know I can go another six feet and tap nearer the taillight housing, but....
I'm not Bert, but I do have his wiring photo from another post. I'm fighting the ignition on mine right now.
Hi Bert, Can you help? I have a wiring issue with my rear lights. Do you have the wiring schematic for this please?
I have been trying to figure out my no spark also but this wire diagram doesn't seem to be correct for my 93 HA4 manual. I have a Black/Yellow and Blue coming out of the Coil right to the Distributor along with a Black ground screwed into the Distributor case. This is showing 4 wires to the Disturber and only one is Labeled
